REMOTE MONITOR

Remote Monitor is an advanced DMR private-call function
that allows an authorized compatible radio to remotely
activate another correctly programmed radio and receive
audio from its microphone.

Remote Monitor requires compatible DMR radios, correct
radio IDs, matching programming and proper authorization.
It must only be used where legally permitted.

Baofeng advertises the maximum high-power setting as
10 W. Actual RF output varies according to frequency,
battery charge, voltage, temperature, antenna load and
test conditions.

Typical high-power output is approximately 8–10 W.
The full advertised 10 W is generally achieved only on
certain frequencies under favourable conditions.

PROGRAMMING

The DM-32UV is programmed using Baofeng’s official CPS
software. It is not currently compatible with CHIRP.
